… so I decided to go a bit retro with our dessert this week and went with this 70’s treat.
Apparently this was Margaret Thatcher’s favourite food to cook . I am not surprised as she was a very busy woman and this is a quick, fuss- free dessert to make .
There are a lot of versions out there , but I can only trust a classic with a classic , so I have gone for Mary Berry’s take on it . Whatever this lady says , goes , no questions asked . And I love the fact that in every recipe she offers invaluable tips ,that make all the difference .
