Creamy tagliatelle with Salmon and Spinach …
… this recipe came to be one day with a little bit of knowledge about creamy pasta recipes and a tub of cream cheese I had in the fridge that needed to be used .
Boil the pasta in salted water and in the meantime melt salted butter in a pan , then add crashed garlic , cream cheese a bit of black pepper and some of the pasta ‘s starchy water , and whisk to a smooth ,silky sauce . Add the cooked pasta to the sauce , some Parmesan , nutmeg and oregano and stir through. Then simply add the flavours you want . My favourite combination is salmon and spinach , but can try mushrooms , bacon , shredded chicken and peas etc.
